Key New Appointment at Centred Solutions

Pharmacy hub and spoke specialists, Centred Solutions, has furthered strengthened its team with a key new appointment as the business continues to grow. An expert in sales leadership and customer relations, Ashley Kilgas joins the team as its Chief Commercial Officer.

As a member of the executive team, Ashley will use his vast experience of working in the healthcare and pharmacy sector to build a high-performing commercial team which delivers value for customers. Ashley is well-known in the community pharmacy sector and brings with him decades of experience following a long career at Alliance Healthcare where he was most recently Sales Director. Having worked closely with Centred Solutions on previous projects, he already has an in-depth knowledge of the business.

“Centred Solutions is a pharmacy technology and automation company, with a tremendous amount of opportunity in front of it. There is currently nobody in the market with the same knowledge, expertise or product offering around hub and spoke. While the company is still in its infancy, it is growing rapidly, and I am looking forward to working with the team to further strengthen and grow the business to support those working in pharmacy,” explained Ashley.

“The company has already seen significant growth in terms of its UK customer base in the past 18 months with a range of key players in the pharmacy market adopting our hub and spoke solutions. This includes hospital home care and care home pharmacies as well as community pharmacies. This customer base is only set to grow once new legislation to expand hub and spoke is implemented. It’s an incredibly exciting time to be joining the team as we look to support pharmacies in creating capacity to take on more clinical roles,” he said.

“I’m looking forward to getting out and about over the coming weeks and months to meet existing our existing customers across the country. I’m also looking forward to connecting and working with other pharmacy businesses who are looking to transform their existing pharmacy dispensing processes so they can create efficiencies and spend more time on face-to-face patient care.
